At Varsity Summer Academy, we’re all about blending learning, creativity, and fun — and one of our most popular hands-on activities is heat pressing custom T-shirts! This exciting workshop gives campers the chance to express their creativity, learn a new skill, and walk away with a one-of-a-kind shirt they designed themselves.

What Is Heat Pressing?

Heat pressing is a simple and safe process that uses heat and pressure to transfer designs onto fabric — like T-shirts, tote bags, and more. Campers get to choose from a variety of colorful designs or even create their own artwork using design templates. Then, with the help of our trained staff and professional heat press machines, they’ll see their artwork come to life on a real shirt!

This activity is about more than just making a cool shirt. It teaches campers valuable skills in design thinking, color theory, and basic production techniques. More importantly, it gives kids a sense of accomplishment — seeing their ideas go from paper to wearable art is incredibly rewarding.
